Oh my goodness! Seems like I've already abandoned my blog. Haven't updated since last December. Well, it's just 1.5 months ago. Not terrible. :P
After the last post...oh wait! I have to go back and review what I wrote last time. OK...done. Found some grammar problems, but that's fine. It's not my 1st language anyway. :P No need to stress out.
So I went to Florida with three other Chinese girls for 16 days, which was terrific!!! That was so awesome! Going to Florida in one of my winter breaks was always on my list. Now I can finally cross that out.We had a great time in Disney World, Universal Studio, beaches, and Keys. We spent our last day of 2013 at the Southernmost Point, which was unforgettable.
I should have written down my journey to Florida. It might take me a long time if I do it now. So I am not going to start. :P Overall, it was very very good. I am so glad I did that trip in the winter before this semester. This is the 4th week of being senior student. I used to say "when can I graduat?" all the time, but now, it's almost here! It's already 4th week. Man.
Everybody around me has become soooo busy. I don't even see my neighbors a lot at school, weird! But, I understand how busy we can get. The weather has been so unpredictable. We already had two school-cancelled days. For us, school-cancelled day doesn't mean you can lie in bed and sleep in. All my fellows studied so hard to catch up or finished their additional assignment. Seriously I would like to go to class instead of day off. But it's dangerous to hit the road. So it's nice overall. I did go sledding today with some students from the dorm.:P In return, I studied 7 hours straight at Starbucks. Fun snow day. :)
I have been making food for myself this semester, which is much much healthier. I got the rice cooker from my host sister who just got married. Thanks to the rice cooker. ^^
It's still Chinese New Year now in China. Facetimed with my family a couple of times. It was a little bit hard to see all my family was there but me, although I am used to be away from home. Still.
Went to my Chinese friend's restaurant and had New Year Eve dinner with them. SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!! We had hotpot. I think I posted something about hotpot looooooooooong time ago. Basically, it's a steaming pot with broth and a table of various ingredients, which can be vegetables and meet. Then you put whatever you like into the pot and wait for them to be cooked. So it's just continuous fresh food all the time. Oh man. It was so delicious. It was a bless!
Hummm. there's no much going on except studying. and you don't want to hear too much about that. So ta ta for now. :P
