Compared to students who just transferred to ISU, Champaign,or other schools, my homework of second week of school seems nothing. So I shouldn't think it's a lot.
Today I went to SI which is a program for anatomy and physiology. It's pretty good! At least, I became more clear about biology. Hopefully I can keep doing this and succeed!! Let me become the legend, please!!! Just kidding. :P
I started to drive by myself from last week. Well, I am still thinking why people like this, maybe because I made too many mistake to scare myself. I got lost last Sunday. I believe this happens to everybody. :P Also,I hit neighbor's mailbox this morning. Well, please don't tell the cops we have a potential car killer here. :P I think I can become a young people with many scary stories.
Taking three online classes seems like not a good idea, at least for me, a last-minute girl. I think I have to take care of this in the next semester.

First day of school!!
Humm, I think I will start with my anniversary of U.S. life. To a certain point, that's pretty something to me. :P Yesterday was my one-year day in U.S. It's great. Probably because of this, I had a very very good mood, or maybe because of school almost started. Last year August 21st, I got off plane and had first pizza at school. And I had pizza yesterday too! Wowwww..isn't that really something? Of course I didn't make it on purpose. That's why I felt surprising.
Last year Wing and I hung out with Lindy and Katie for the first time at Avantis, and we hung out for the last time at Avantis again! Sometimes, things happen like this, without any purpose, are really amazing and cheer me up. :D
Ya, summer is completely over, even the weather is still here. (But it's not super hot, is fall coming?) Another important thing is, I got my driver license!! Woahahahaha..eventually. :) Now I am looking for cars. As long as I can have a car, I don't care whether it's bug(never be a cockroach, bug here means beetle) or not any more.
I met several old friends today and some new friends today. Life is wonderful. I enjoy making friends with others. It seems like there are 2 more new Chinese students at ICC. :)
Today, I had Anatomy and Physiology lecture and lab. The biology teacher is cool. :) Actually, I find out I am not good at listening in class, which is true.I always lost important information. However, I met and meet good teachers. Teachers at ICC are pretty helpful and patient. :) After class, I picked up the tutor schedule at the learning lab for my biology class. I think I will stay there most of the time in this semester. I am at the war with many classes. Haha. People in Asia usually will say "fighting" for cheer people up, something like "good luck" or "you can do it". Some people here feel weird when we say that. It never means violence. Don't worry. :P So fighting fighting fighting! :)))
So far, I am still too chicken to drive by myself. Anyway, I had a new passenger when I drove. :P She is graduate student at Bradley. Her name is Yan. Oh, well, if you want to meet this sweet girl, I will introduce her to you. :D
Oh, one more thing, Mid-autumn Day is coming soon, which few American know this Chinese traditional festival. It's one of the most important festival in China. The full moon will hang in the sky, every year except raining or cloudy. Families get together and have a big big dinner! The typical food is mooncake, which is available at the Asian market. The typical activities is to hang lanterns everywhere and appreciate the moon after dinner. When I was younger, I carried the lanterns to walk in the street with my siblings. It doesn't sound fun, but it's. :P Also, we have grapefruit and chestnut, which are my favorite.
Alright, fighting!! :P

Saying goodbye
I don't like saying goodbye, especially when it will take a long time to see again.
The first time I came to America last August,21st, (I am gonna be in this country for a whole year, maybe I should celebrate as well as others celebrate their anniversary), I said goodbye to my family in Hong Kong. My mom hid herself and cried. When all of us went back China, we said goodbye to friends, families we met here. It's sad. Unluckily, I was the one cried a lot (too much actually). It didn't make sense because I was planning coming back. Weird.
Today, said goodbye to Kyle and Trish at home. I should have been Chicago with them tonight. I am so regretful why I decided not to go. Seeing the van which led them to another country, tears rolled down. But at least, I pretend very well to have a happy goodbye.
Kyle and Trish are my good brother and sister, of course, also Troy and Tess. Actually, I just knew Kyle and Trish in May. However, long time or short time doesn't decide anything. I enjoyed the time with them. They are a very sweet couple and extraordinary considerate.
Hope they have a safe mission and good time in Senegal, I will keep praying for you two. Love you.

1st English Blog
You will never know how hard I made this decision to be an English blogger. I know nobody will care about my English grammar. Hahaha.
Today is my super dear host sister's, Trish's,birthday. Tess, Trish's younger sister, my another sweet host sister, had brilliant ideas. She always does. Somehow, the secrets were open. Anyway, we kept the ice-cream one. :P
After several hours in the Peoria Zoo, which was super great!! even though it was pretty hot and sweaty. I felt so dumb to have hair down. Probably I need to have a short hair. This made the ice-cream plan worthy sooooooooo much! :) I have never expected the summer here can be like this. I already had many many many stinky summer in Shenzhen where I am from.
Well, I found out I would talk too much besides things I wanted to share. Can be distracted so easily.
So now go back ice-cream. We went to Sweet Cece's, which just opened last week!! I definitely will recommend it to everybody. You can have different flavors, and have whatever you want to put on top of ice-cream! Oh.my..You gotta try it. They are fresh and super worthy. :)
We also went to Barns and Noble, which I always mixed it up. Sometimes, I called it Noble and Bells. Probably this is somewhere I become to like.
After a hot afternoon, we had a great dinner at One World where I had been, but I never remember the restaurant's name. So I supposed I'd never been until I walked inside.
This is the super great ice-cream store!! Happy ending! :P
